Executive ProfilesGord Hicks, President, BLJC Gordon Hicks joined BLJC in 1997 and held a number of Executive roles until being promoted to President in 2006. Gordon is a graduate Engineer of Carleton University, a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Gord is committed to supporting the Real Estate Industry in operating to the highest environmental standards. To this end, Gord has served on the Board of Directors of the Canada Green Building Council since May 2007. In April 2008, Gord became one of 275 Certified Canadian Presenters of Al Gore’s “The Climate Project”, inspired by the Academy Award winning documentary on climate change, “An Inconvenient Truth”. In 2009, Gord joined the Board of The Climate Project Canada. Finally, in 2009 Gord was appointed the Cabinet Leader for the Real Estate Sector of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Leaders for the Cure Program.
Brian Fellows, Executive Vice President As Executive Vice-President of BLJC, Brian is responsible for New Business Development, Marketing, and the development of go-to-market strategies for BLJC's Outsourced Service Offerings.
Jim Neal, Vice-President – Finance As Vice-President, Finance, Jim leads BLJC's financial management team in corporate and client accounting and financial systems and is an Officer of the Company. Prior to joining BLJC, Jim's background included several senior financial and operational roles including V.P. & CFO and V.P. National Operations for a large contracting services firm and Director Finance for a large multi-national technology company. Jim has several years of knowledge and leadership with financial and administrative functions including information technology, legal, human resources, procurement and service management. Jim holds a CMA designation and graduated from York University with a MBA in Finance and Marketing and received a Bachelor of Commerce with honours from Queen’s University. |
