News & Announcements3/10/2010 | Efficiency and value to guide BLJC’s new strategic priorities In an effort to respond to clients’ needs while enhancing the company’s continued market success, BLJC is refining its key priorities midway through 2010. BLJC President Gordon Hicks says while the organization has remained largely unscathed from the recent economic downturn many of the organization’s clients are still facing cost pressures. “Although the economy has picked up since the lows of March 2009, customers remain fixated on these two key areas, efficiency improvement and value creation,” says Hicks. “(These) must be cornerstones of BLJC’s operating philosophy in order to drive sustained double-digit growth in our business into the future.” The company decided to refine its strategic plan, and name it BLJC EVolution, that reflects the clients’ priorities, with the ‘EV’ highlighting a commitment to efficiency and value. EVolution outlines four key priorities aimed at aggressively propelling the company forward. These are to become the employer of choice, aggressively add and retain customers, relentlessly implement continuous improvement and unparalleled service delivery efficiency. Hicks says the priorities align with BLJC’s strategic direction of operational excellence while focusing on developing greater insight into their customer’s business, ensuring BLJC is continually creating quantifiable value. “We need to be challenging ourselves frequently with the question that clients are now asking us monthly ‘What have you done for me lately?’” says Hicks. To support the organization in achieving its new vision, organizational changes have also been put in place. |
