CELEBRATE WITH US
We invite you to join us at One Moment in Time, to share our celebration of 25 years and how far we have come in working towards creating a future without breast cancer. If your company or you know a company who may be interested in participating, here are three ways they can get involved:

  • Silver Anniversary Sponsor - Provide opportunities to demonstrate support through unique event brand activations.
  • Table Sponsor - Provide opportunities to host Foundation supporters at a company-donated table.
  • Corporate Table - Provides opportunities to host clients, network or reward employees at a company designated table

To secure a sponsorship opportunity, please contact Andrea Lucas, (416) 815-1313 ext. 330 or alucas@cbcf.org

Update: Leaders prospecting and sponsorship activity is moving along very well. We have met with several of our Leaders who have come forward and have shared their network connections and are now in the process of inviting them to purchase a table or sponsorship. WELCOME NEW LEADER! Simon Worraker, SVP, General Manager, REVLON CANADA INC
“I chose to become a Foundation Leader for two reasons. Firstly, from a professional perspective Revlon is a company that is intimately involved with women, and has long supported the fight against breast cancer. And secondly, from a personal perspective, I've been so impressed and moved by the courage of those I've met who are currently fighting, or have fought this disease, that I wanted to add my personal support to their cause” Welcome to Leaders!

FEATURED LEADER: Jose Correia, President, Bee-Clean Building Maintenance
“Not only because CBCF is such a worthy cause, but also due to Gord Hicks' unwavering enthusiasm, it was an easy choice to become a Leader. This disease has personally touched my life, as one of my family members has had cancer. I believe by everyone doing their part, one day a cure will be found.”

Bee-Clean Building Maintenance is the fastest growing full service Canadian janitorial company which has been in operation since 1967. With its recent expansion into Quebec, Bee Clean currently provides services for approximately 180 million square feet of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential space while employing over 8500 employees from coast to coast to coast on a daily basis.

For the second year, Mr. Correia and his company, Bee-Clean have signed on to support the Leaders program. Having generously given over $20,000 in support over the past two years, we sincerely thank you for your continued commitment to a future without breast cancer.

LEADERS FUNDRAISING IDEA

Here are a few examples of how some of our Leaders are organizing their employee involvement:

• April: After work event - Wine Tasting Experience • May: Jeans Day • June: Lunch & Learn - Keynote Speaker • July/Aug: Long weekend early escape on Friday for a donation • Sept: Company sports tournament • Oct: Halloween Costume Event • Nov: Employee Auction – flowers for a month, filing for a fiscal, coffee/tea slave for a week • Dec: Holiday Party Fundraiser • Ongoing: A donation “charge” for late meeting attendance.

BECOMING A LEADER
From prevention and diagnosis to treatment and care, the need for change is great. You become a Leader for a future without breast cancer by:

  • Giving $1,000 or more on an annual basis.*
  • Championing a corporate contribution of $10,000 or more through a corporate donation, workplace campaign or individual fundraising campaign.
  • Approaching your network of contacts to recruit other Leaders.

Your support as a Leader will open doors and leverage much-needed dollars to create extraordinary progress against breast cancer. To become a Leader please contact:
Andrea Lucas, Senior Development Officer at alucas@cbcf.org or (416) 815-1313 x330

*Can be done through designation of your United Way contribution

ABOUT US
The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1986 as the first organization in the country dedicated exclusively to the fundingof breast cancer research and education initiatives. We continue to blaze new trails in breast cancer and breast health by directing donor dollars to world-class researchers who are contributing to groundbreaking progress in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care; and to community organizations for unique local initiatives with impact. In the past five years, we have directed nearly $60 million to the cause in Ontario alone as a result of fundraising initiatives like our signature event, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, and the efforts of a committed volunteer network numbering in the thousands.
